Blueberries, fresh or dry packed, rinsed and drained | 2 cups |

Sweetened condensed milk | 14 ounces |
Warm water | 1 ½ cups |
Butter, melted | ¼ cup |
Vanilla extract | 1 teaspoon |
Cinnamon, ground | ½ teaspoon |
Nutmeg, ground | ¼ teaspoon |
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, toss together bread cubes and blueberries, completely moistening bread.
- Place in a greased 9-inch square baking pan; side aside.
- In the same large bowl, beat eggs lightly, and then add remaining ingredients; mix well.
- Pour evenly over bread cubes and blueberries, completely moistening the bread.
- Bake 45 to 50 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool; serve warm or chilled.
