Lean ground meat, beef or bison

Rice, long-grain, uncooked

Garlic powder

¼ teaspoon

Pepper

1/8 teaspoon

Tomato sauce

15 ounces

Worcestershire sauce

|
- Soak the rice in water for 30 minutes; drain and set aside.
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Mix ground meat with rice, ½ cup water, onion, salt, garlic powder, and pepper.
- Shape into 1 ½-inch meatballs, and place in an ungreased 2-quart shallow baking dish.
- Mix tomato and Worcestershire sauces with 1-cup water, and pour over meatballs.
- Cover, and bake for about 45 minutes.
- Uncover, and continue baking for another 15 to 20 minutes.
