Garlic, peeled

- Preheat your oven to 350F.
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
- Heat 2-tablespoons oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken, and brown, about 8 minutes per side.
- Remove from heat, add the thyme and garlic, and 1/2-cup oil.
- Cover and bake for 1 1/2-hours.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before carving and serving.
