- Preheat the oven to 325°F.
- Cream the butter until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg, almonds, sugar, brandy, and spices, and then gradually add the flour until well combined.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough to a ¼-inch thickness, and cut with a round cookie cutter dipped in flour; place the cookies on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until lightly browned.
